Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen..

As you maybe know from my former Journal I was asking you to help me with a new featuring.
well. the outcome was a bit sad for me, because of the huge number of participants, but as  promised here are the results:

Topic: YOUR Summer




Two very nice impressions from the German city Magdeburg. One with a stunning sunset, which we all love to enjoy every evening in summer the other with a szene like from a fairytale with it's blossoms and the warm colors.



Here we've got a portrait of his cat which could be seen as a very special hint to summer. As we all know bastet was an Egyptian goddes with the body of a cat, it's always warm in egypt like it is in summer.. very subtile but great (especialy because i love cats, but who doesn't? ). second another sunset. this time it realy reminds me of my homedistrict eventhough it's about 1.600 kilometers away from here .



This time there are no sunsets but eventhough I like the works very much. the first one is also a very favorite motive of myself during summer, especially when the sun is trapped between the spikes. The second one is a very beautifull and also unique portrait of a young girl. I like very much how the sun doesn't lighten up her face (like every normal and traditional portrait do) but instead apears behind her, giving the person a very beautifull glowing outline.
