A very small Featuring

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen..
As you maybe know from my former Journal I was asking you to help me with a new featuring.
well. the outcome was a bit sad for me, because of the huge number of participants, but as promised here are the results:
Topic: YOUR Summer
Two very nice impressions from the German city Magdeburg. One with a stunning sunset, which we all love to enjoy every evening in summer the other with a szene like from a fairytale with it's blossoms and the warm colors.

Here we've got a portrait of his cat which could be seen as a very special hint to summer. As we all know bastet was an Egyptian goddes with the body of a cat, it's always warm in egypt like it is in summer.. very subtile but great
(especialy because i love cats, but who doesn't? 
). second another sunset. this time it realy reminds me of my homedistrict eventhough it's about 1.600 kilometers away from here .
This time there are no sunsets but eventhough I like the works very much. the first one is also a very favorite motive of myself during summer, especially when the sun is trapped between the spikes. The second one is a very beautifull and also unique portrait of a young girl. I like very much how the sun doesn't lighten up her face (like every normal and traditional portrait do) but instead apears behind her, giving the person a very beautifull glowing outline.
Sadly this was it. However I hope you're enjoying these few selected works and please give all participants nice comments and critiques. Let them know your thoughts

Special Feature:

Was wäre die Welt ohne die leben Nerds? Sie sorgen für Heiterkeit und funktionierende Rechner
. Auch erblickt man sie gerne unter sich in heißen Debatten um die neuesten Games oder der Technik. Gut, dass wir sie haben, sonst wüssten wir heute nicht, was angesagt ist und was nicht.Und solch ein Nerd weiß auch, sich stilvoll zu kleiden.. in modischen T-shirts zum Beispiel. Darum wurde diese tolle Internetseite, von der ich euch hier ein bisschen berichten möchte, ins Leben gerufen.
3Dsupply nennt sie sich und sie ist vollgepackt mit den geilsten Motiven, die nichtnur Gamerherzen höher schlagen lässt. Ihr grillt gerne? Super dann sagt es durch euer T-shirt! Ihr habt eine politische Meinung und würdet sie gerne teilen? Ab auf's T-shirt damit!
Es gibt natürlich noch viele weitere Themen und dazu nichtnur T-shirts, sollten euch diese nicht so sehr zusagen. Unter anderem gibt es neben den Hoodies und Longshirts auch Taschen, Kissen (yarly!) und Kochschürzen!! alles mit eurem Lieblingsmotiv!!
Und so ganz nebenbei (denn als Webseitenbetreiber muss man auch irgendwie auf sich aufmerksam machen) gibt es im Moment eine super Werbeaktion.

Freestyler and the Long Night of Fails

It was this time of the year again... Berlins Long Night of the Museums just kicked in. So my cutey and me decided to grap our cam's and some friends to enjoy the kick of a culture-overdosis.
But wait.. Somehow the germans (especialy these security-men) act more and more like camera-hating retards >__>.
First "museum": An exposition about nature photographs. It was not bad and you were able to get some new inspirations. Okay.. These were new pictures of unknown photographers so taking pictures was not allowed.
Second museum: The Museum of Photography. a must for every picturetaker who want's to know about the own trade? Well we thought so too but wait..! A HUUUUUGE exposition about a german photographer who just shot beautifull and nude woman? myeah okay.. 90% of the pictures are looking posed and boring but taking pictures is allowed after the houserules so let's take at least some pictures of normal visitors in their natural behavior...

*sigh* "But the house rule said something different..."
"Myeah but not today!"
DAMN! So up to the souvenirs store to get at least some nice postcards.
Third try: The Museum of Television and Movies: Imagine a room full of mirrors and screens with clips of old movies and nowhere a "Camera not allowed"-sign... EPIC WIN!!!

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!?!?! the third museum and no damn photos???? What are they afraid of?? "OHO!!!! I'll take some pictures of the very old cameras and requisites to use them as plans to rebuild them at home just to sell 'em on ebay!" ? These security men are always so damn asshurt!
It was a very impressive museum but one sentence can destroy everything...
so after a very demotivating visit of another fail we went to the fourth and last stop on our list..:
The Karl Zeiss Planetarium
. I realy looked forward to see the starsky in a brightness which is already almost forgotten in Berlin these days. It was very nice and informative (except the stuff i already knew according to selfstudies 
) and on top of the great starsky we had the honour to see a "DAMN GREATSOME LAZ0RSHOW!!!" It was all in all very cheesy.. at first Freestyler and afterwards a song by Madonna but at least the operator tried his best and the lasers were a nice ending of a night full of fail and retards.
